It’s happening!

【Announcement】 A special chapter of Hetalia will be published in JUMP SQ!
I was also asked to do a colored spread so I drew something that looks like a theme park.

It’s difficult to draw this type of face.

>In your blog entry titled “Rabbit Rabbit”, those two people who had their clothes ripped were totally my type! But I can’t tell who they are, so who are they? I’m sorry for my ignorance.

It’s the trembling weakling without his twin brother that became the sturdy gladiator emperor, (though still couldn’t be cured of trembling) Commodus! And the hermit emperor Tiberius!
Tiberius comes up in the Jump Plus manga, please have a look if you’re interested~!

>Are there really buildings like that?

It seems they really exist in China and New York! You can see churches and such with that sort of distinctive shape from above on Google Earth and it’s the talk of the town in America (lol). In some places they are called Dixon.

I’m really sorry there were so few pages in the January parts of Plus, but things just kept piling up. What I’ve been drawing during this time will be revealed soon, and I hope you’ll all enjoy it!

>You’ve mentioned in previous blog posts that you are planning to sell things like tights with a Liechtenstein motive, just wondering when those will come… So excited!

Thank you very much! It’s taking a bit longer for the cloth to be delivered, so it looks like it will be around February. The clothing items will be t-shirts and tights.

>Since I’ve been reading Hetalia, I want to visit so many places in America! But if you were really, really hard pressed to pick just one spot, what would you recommend?

If you want the standard experience, that would be New York! All the museums and galleries are built around Central Park, and some people may enjoy visiting the museums and then taking a stroll through the park… Some people will appreciate going to Broadway or Stomp and wait in a piano bar in order to enjoy the night life… so many things to do!
The best seasons are April to June and September to October. In July and August, it’s a scorchingly hot concrete hell, and in winter the tall buildings are freezingly cold because of the wind, so I can’t really recommend either! Winter especially is so cold I thought my ears and nose would freeze off.

If you have a bit bigger budget, Los Angeles has a lots of great places to visit too. If you enjoy architecture, Yale university and its surroundings were stunning. The campus is so pretty it’s been featured in movies! However the food around Yale… Never ever order anything rice-based. None of the places can cook it properly… Bread is fine though!

I haven’t had a chance to visit the West Coast, but I heard it has this feeling of freedom and also the food is good apparently.

>What colour are Romano’s and Spain’s eyes?

From a certain angle they look just like this…!!

>Won’t you rip Romania’s clothes for us as well?

I plan to start on Christmas on 22nd, so how about a continuation of Christmas + men with torn clothing?
