Mustard for Geese

Parts of the vol. 6 front cover have been revealed.
This time it’s Nordics on the back and front.

What follows is a truly unbelievable ghost story from China.

Dying upon reconsidering one’s own crimes…
And here is another Chinese ghost story with a strange plot twist.

Mr. Song wakes up one day and finds out that his wife turned into a turtle. His son and the neighbours are all shocked and confused, when suddenly the wife dashes out with a speed one wouldn’t expect from a turtle and flees, as if returning to mother nature.
Every few days, the turtle reappears to hang out around the son. When the people from the neighbourhood ask him, “Your mum is as good as dead, shouldn’t you be wearing your mourning clothes?” the son answers, “She turned into a turtle but is still alive…” and refuses to go into mourning.

Starting a career as a turtle out of the blue…
Especially the part where the mother just goes on to enjoy her new turtle lifestyle without giving the son any explanation whatsoever, that’s just definitely too much.
Scary mother. Scary story indeed.

[T/N: It’s actually the Chinese softshell turtle]
