The owner was a nice person.

Woah, dazzling

Oooooh

>Will the Birz issues be only about the African front?

No! I plan to use many other other parts of military history in Birz. I’ll try my best to include Eastern Europe as well.

Japan too will be presented in a bit different light, so you can look forward to it!
The military cooperation between Italy and Japan worked since pretty long time ago. I’ll also do my best in adding more pages to every issue.

> I was surprised to find your new art as an extra!
But… what to do if I bought the special edition as well as the regular one… (cries)

You bought both? Thank you so much!
I’m glad I could surprise you with that

>Germany was incredibly handsome.

I’m happy to hear that!
German uniforms are rather good-looking.

>It was a pleasure to read the new Birz!
Even though giving 600 yen (7USD/5,5EUR) from a student’s meagre pocket money is harsh…

My pocket money used to be only around 500-1000 yen too, so I understand your pain.
Thank you for spending it for Hetalia. I plan to include strictly selected and remastered parts into the separate Hetalia manga volumes as well, and hope to add some new pages too!!

> There were many new characters added to hetalia recently, but I’m probably the only one expecting the representation of the Order of Malta…

India and Vatican were requested pretty much from the start, also the highest demand seems to be for Philippines, Indonesia, Portugal, Malta, Scotland and Malaysia, so I feel like I should at least introduce these I guess?

By the way, I’m visiting Vatican for a short time!
Also the public safety in Naples is so bad I wanted to cry. Compared to my time in North Italy, the older brother is much more grunge in appearance. It’s as if Romano couldn’t even exist if he weren’t as wild as he is, really. Southern Italians are very cheerful people and the food is delicious.

>I want to study abroad, how is it with racial discrimination?

Some kids in India were shouting “Lunatic! Lunatic!” at me. As I’ve asked about it, I was told some Japanese person told them it means “welcome”.
Who taught them something like that!

>Ig Nobel Prize

World peace is being maintained by the combination of Nobel Prize and the Ig Nobel Prize.

>The Comic Birz came out today!!
But sadly it wasn’t really on sale… orz

There was a rumour about being “On sale” as a sort of urban legend in bookstores as well, but apparently few people saw it on internet.
If you look up Birz in the urban legends board, there are some mysterious bookstore disappearances too…

According to a bookstore clerk who worked there for about 50 years, “As I was maybe 25, I once saw the legendary Birz magazine. The second I saw it, I felt a cold shudder and something like a black shadow. Before I knew it, it disappeared without a trace. A terrifying book.” or so he said.

Birz was again spotted in real book stores. Among stories from various people, there was one who told me this:
“You find instructions for the usage upon opening the book. On Friday the Thirteenth at 12 o’clock, you’re supposed to be standing in front of a mirror, the devil will pass through the book and your wish will be granted. It felt as if I’ve heard the devil laugh at that time. But it was too scary for me the do the mirror thing and the book sort of disappeared on itself.”
How terrible…

>I want to see your Makino-san with Miyata sensei…

… you mean that angel of death…

[T/N: the only Miyata sensei I could find is from the game SIREN]

Also the LM part of Cleaning Prussia is a bit late but if you finished your registration you should be able to download it smoothly.
