A little bit of time has passed.

Germany’s dogs have such a relaxing lifestyle with their laissez faire policy.
Leonbergers and such dogs are so cool!

A little bit of time has passed as I was scribbling.
I’m currently doing various things behind the scenes.
I need to hurry up with the things in question that were late.

■ Kyushu sketches

With all of the Kyushu Shinkansen opening, it will seemingly be easier to move around in Kyushu from now on.
Also, thanks for various info on various places.
Japan sure is full of pretty places.

Fukuoka: Happy since he gives off a festival-loving atmosphere.
Many of my favourite foods are specialties of Fukuoka, so it’s one of the places I want to visit thoroughly.
I got to fully enjoy Dazaifu Tenmangu’s refreshing atmosphere.

Saga: I tried giving him a more serious disposition.
The Yoshinogari Ruins are huge and jam-packed with atmosphere reminiscent of ancient times.
While I was touring in Saga, I would munch solely on ogi yokan.

Nagasaki: Nagasaki’s night views are really beautiful no matter where you go, so I feel like it’s a waste to close the curtains.
In “A Great Heritage: Churches in Nagasaki” (Tomoshobo)
you can enjoy beautiful photos of churches across Nagasaki. I recommend it.
I found only one of Glover Residence’s heart marks.

Oita: Contains about 2 hidden motifs.
The scenery of the large stone bridge was stunning. I want to try a round of their hot springs someday.
Cat: Appears in Kicchomu-san’s riddles.

[T/N: Kicchomu-san: a man from a series of Japanese folktales, notorious for his cleverness, whether it’s to get what he wants, such as food or money, or to play with people’s words so that he ends up with the upper hand in the argument. Some of his tricks involved cats.]

Miyazaki: has the longest daylight hours in Japan, so I tried giving her a sunny disposition.
It seems to be the prefecture where the stars look very beautiful.
Ah. I should have drawn a moai that became a (friendship) bridge between Easter Island and Japan!

Kumamoto: I tried to present an ikinari dango that I ate at Kumamoto Castle.
Kumamoto Castle is huge, it was so cool.
The dog is a Higo wolf dog. The thing that’s floating in the air is a delicious jindaiko-like sweet.。

Kagoshima: I tried aiming for a trustworthy disposition for him, but it was difficult!
Shirokuma has a deliciousness that you want to export to the world.
I want to go to one of their parlors someday.

[T/N: Shirokuma: aka “polar bear”, a beloved summer treat in Kagoshima: shave ice covered in condensed milk and fruits, making it resemble the face of a polar bear.]

This series, besides the comic, is something I drew with ease,
so it looks soft.

Here’s a jpg illustration I used for part of a booklet in high school…

This turned into Kalom afterwards.
