【Seiji】 characters: 星治
A young man who is a fair-skinned, hard-to-please apprentice artist.
He came to Nantucket from Glasgow.
He was born in Muika, but grew up in Echigo Yuzawa.
【Chibi-san】
Chibi-san. A girl brimming with curiosity and naivete.
She unexpectedly has a strong competitive spirit, so she gets in lots of fights with Rocket.
【Suehiro-san】
A silent and calm potter.
He’s too serious, so he’s kinda awkward with anything but work.
He lived his life silently on a little nook of the tiny island,
but since Seiji came along it seems like things are changing a little bit.
【Margaret】 Margaret Baker
The young lady of a large house on a hill, she is cheerful and a tomboy. Her nickname is “Meg”.
She loves baseball, tree-climbing and guitar, but her older sister doesn’t understand her at all.
Her father is the president of a shipbuilding company.
【Candy】 Candy Baker
Margaret’s older sister who seems kind of like she puts on airs.
She likes to bake sweets and thinks black tea and coffee are annoying.
Most days she acts like an older sister, but unexpectedly she’s really a coward and a crybaby.
【Fischer】 Reinhard Fischer
A son who is easy-going and sociable.
He became friends with Seiji by chance, and is now stuck in an unfortunate relationship with him.
His dream is to be a musician in New York.
He hates studying but he only has enthusiasm for learning about music.
【Rocket】 Robert Wedgewood
His name is Robert, but he’s always angry, so everyone started calling him “Grumpy Rocket”.
Both his parents are in Boston, but right now he’s living with his Grandmother and Grandfather.
【Sujanta】 Sujanta
A picture-book artist that lives and works in the shop that Rocket’s Grandfather manages.
She’s a good-humored, cheerful big sister, but she’s terribly scatterbrained.
