Hello, it’s Himaruya, who’s been watching horror movies non-stop,
In an old American movie, even though it’s a horror movie, the protagonist and heroine started belting out a song about love musical style!
And the mob and monsters started singing along…
It’s kinda cute how it’s like High School Musical.

It’s almost time for the art book to be shipped out.
I’m a little nervous, but I hope everyone will enjoy it.
A cute omake is going to be included so I hope you enjoy it with your eyes and feeling it.
Also included is reference book of all the miniature characters I’ve drawn.

As well, there’s going to be an announcement soon, of things that are to be release and about the series!
My new editor is letting me do a lot freely.

It’s a little lacking with just text so I’ll UPUP the drafts of the mini characters.

The original drafts.
Germany and his dog felt too intimidating in this scrapped version.
If I were offered a beer by a tall person like this, I’d be too scared.

News out of Russia that I laughed at.
Wh-why Won’t You Move~!? A Wild Squirrel Causes A Disturbance, Crying* Over A Dog Statue
[English article: It’s nuts but I love you: One squirrel’s bizarre obsession with a garden statue of a dog]
Also, I heard there was a crazy mouse that would face you boxing-style and will try and tackle you in Russia…

Denmark-san who has been wanting to get closer to Germany lately.

A simulation game I’ve been addicted to from a long time ago, has Italy fighting along side Germany in the German part, but during the England part, Italy won’t do anything at all (actually they do things that seem more like interference) If it’s after encountering France they’re obedient and cute, but after a while they’ve wandered off in small groups to places where you wouldn’t have expected them to go running off to and to me that’s what’s so unbelievably cute about the Italy army.
The Carro Veloce L3/33 takette is mai waifu~

I want him holding something other than a Japanese sword, but I don’t know what it should be.

[Useless fact of the day]

Spain made a tank based off of a farm tractor.
It’s crazy how much of an impression of farm work and pastoral quality it gives when you see it.
[TN: Probably the Trubia/Trubia A4 tanks?]

The Story of the Statue of Liberty

I’m sorry this was finished immensely late….
Right now, the plans were changed to Statue of Liberty story.
Boss’ story will be next.

■America Independence Day 100th Anniversary Commemoration…■

On America’s 100 year independence anniversary,
he seems to have gotten a gift from France.

【The Statue of Liberty was France’s 100-years-of-independence present.
When it was first sent it was in pieces】

The Statue of Liberty was a gift given to by France, who worked extremely hard on it, to celebrate the centennial of America’s independence.
When it first arrived to America, however, it was in pieces and it needed to be reassembled.
This project needed a lot of money too so the citizens of NY and the statue assembly workers were reluctant to give funds.

“If NY can’t assemble the statue, I can take over and assemble it in my home~!”
It seems this was said often at the time.
If they really had given up on assembling it at the time, the statue would of stood somewhere else. It would be strange to see if you think about it.

■Nevertheless, this is America-like■

And thus the Statue of Liberty became a symbol to the many immigrants that watches over New York.
By the way, the Lady is a green person.

Seeing the Statue of Liberty up close was cool and had quite an impact, but if you view the statue from the ferry heading to Staten Island, it’s magnificent!
Staten Island is also very heartwarming and it’s a good island.
There’s also another view of the statue from Brooklyn Heights Promenade that I recommend, though she does look a bit smaller from there.

There’s a smaller statue of the Statue of Liberty in Paris, given as a thank you from the citizens of America, lying cozily next to a bridge in the Ile des Cygnes.
I went there to see it, but I forgot to take pictures of it…

The number of times the Statue of Liberty has been destroyed in movies is bizarre!
The White House and the two monuments above also meet with a lot of disasters.
On the opposite end, Mr. Tokyo Tower’s secure rate of survival in a world apocalypse scene is abnormally high.
