Everyone as a Child

The delicate child versions of everyone!

Poland’s traditional clothing. The flower embroidery is cute.

Lithuania’s traditional clothing.
I thought it was cute how they were introduced together and Poland’s was red while Lithuania’s was blue.

English armor. There are countless numbers on display at Metropolitan, but only in England when it’s an ornament can you really feel the England fighting spirit.

Cowboy outfits are pretty functional and interesting.

Kumajirou is little, too!

It’s the outfit of a Shinto head priest. It changes depending on the rank.

A Russian traditional long coat.
The flowerlike decoration on the boots is cute.
But Peter the Great stopped that.

I went! Victoria Peak really was amazing.

The noodles look kind of like a school lunch’s soft noodles. The soup is really delicious.

【The Balance of Truth & Harmony】

Today in our living quarters I went to a store that was made to look like Hong Kong fields of autumn leaves and had a ton of anime and comic goods.
Pictures were forbidden inside, so there were reports of people who had taken pictures in the past getting all messed up, and it felt like it was a very manly choice of “Do you want to die or do you want to take pictures?”

Today it was very bright and there wasn’t that sort of atmosphere at all, but I had to seal my camera while I was exploring. This is what it’s like being watched!
Hong Kong had so many interesting things that I think even after I return home I’ll be drawing things about it in my diary.

And tomorrow I’ll be coming home! I have to scan some comics.

Cat-ear Bus

An Italian-like star.

【I tried to read it】
鳴鳴鳴鳴・・・・救命!救命啊啊啊啊啊啊啊!我變小了!
不!不公平!我不要這様!

[T/N: this is Chinese. Mine’s pretty rusty so I can only read a few things… It’s an excerpt from “藩多拉的眼涙” the book he bought a few entries ago.]

I can kind of read it…!?

Rice noodles in Hong Kong

Ooooh, I wanted to see scenery like this!

And they have round, short and stout buses. So cute.
If Choro-Q had them, I would want them.

[T/N: Choro-Q is a toy car company, known as Penny Racers in Western markets ]

Today’s spoils:

There’s a nice space for Japanese history in Hong Kong bookstores, so I went ahead and bought one of the books.
It introduces lots of things from Japanese culture like stamps and candy and Hanami, using handwritten words and watercolor illustrations.
It’s cute and kind of like a picture book.

[T/N: Hanami]

And in front of the train station I bought two really popular books.
In the back is a comic that’s fully colored. The front one is kind of like what’s called a light novel in Japan.
I don’t get much from the pictures but it looks like it’s made with a ton of silver lamé cloth which looks gorgeous.
There are lots of colored illustrations inside. I’m gonna try and read it.

[T/N: Light novel and lamé]
